Happy Tails

Happy Tails make our world go 'round!

If you have a happy tail story that you would like to share about your rescue collie, please contact us to share! We love pictures, too, and would love to post your story on our website. Maybe you will be story of the month!

Gracie is my pal and my light. If anyone gets in trouble, it is Gracie. If anyone can melt a heart, it is Gracie. She can be completely covered in mud and wet to the skin in a light drizzle in approximately 1.5 milliseconds, on a leash, just for a trip out to potty (Mac will not look like he would have left the house, his feet still white as snow). She loves to play and is a tomboy. And is very smart. She is very alpha, so we train a little every day - especially on things like "leave it" "Pick it up and drop it". I would give a list of the "tricks" she knows, but we don't have all day. ;) She sleeps with me. In the mornings, Grace and Mac greet each other heartily like old friends. They really like each other. The cats all like the dogs and the dogs love the cats. They nap together, play tricks on each other, etc. There is affection shown in both directions. The dogs will not use their beds if there is a cat on them -- which is funny because the cats are small and the beds enormous - one tiny 5 pound cat in the middle of a 3 foot by 5 foot dog bed and Gracie will lay next to the bed and lay her head on the bed next to the cat.

Anyway, attached is a picture of Missy and Parker at Halloween. Parker is 1/2 dog
1/2 boy and Missy is 1/2 dog 1/2 boy. Missy is a blue Merle smooth coat. We got
her when she was 6 months old. Her living conditions were filthy and she had
demodex (sp?) mange. She was born 6/24/2004. She loves Parker and Parker
loves her (otherwise why would she let him dress her). Ha ha!!!
